DSP Scorecard & Insurance Review
How your safety record and scorecard affect what carriers charge, and a free review of your account by a licensed agent who can quote it with real carriers.
What drives a DSP's premium
There is no single published discount for a scorecard tier. Each carrier prices a DSP from its own underwriting of these factors, which is why the only reliable number is a real quote.
Loss history
Your loss runs (usually 3-5 years) carry the most weight: how many claims, how severe, and whether they are still open.
Fleet size and vehicle types
Number of vans and step vans, owned vs leased, and the values you need to insure for physical damage.
Driver quality
Driver ages, motor vehicle records, turnover and how you hire and train. High turnover is a red flag for underwriters.
Safety program and telematics
Dash cams, seatbelt and speeding data, and documented coaching show a carrier that you manage risk, not just report it.
Scorecard standing
Your Amazon scorecard is evidence of how the operation runs. Carriers that write DSPs may ask for it with the application.
Coverage limits and deductibles
Required limits, the deductible you can carry, and any coverage your contract requires all change the price.
How to improve your scorecard

Set daily targets and review them in scorecard meetings.
Prevent safety incidents
